On Thursday the 23rd of April, students were invited to attend an introductory talk on first aid held at our Cherokee Lecture hall. The talk covered the very basics of first aid and included a very interesting demonstration of what to do and how to do it. This is something we will be offering on a monthly basis to our students as part of their safety briefings. Although the content discussed was of a serious matter, the students all had an opportunity to practice what they had learned on each other which always raises a couple of laughs. The talk was both highly informative as well as fun.
Here students have the opportunity to practice what to do if someone is choking.
