Requirements

  • Please note that 43 Air School requires clients to be current in terms of Multi Engine Instrument Flying. The course is designed to provide the client with "aircraft type specific" training and not basic Multi engine/ instrument training.
  • Should recurrent training be required before the commencement of the course, 43 Air School offers a Multi Engine Instrument Flying Currency Program.
  • Multi Engine Instrument Rating
  • SACAA CPL/ATPL or other * NAA equivalent
  • English Language Proficiency of 4 or above
  • Class 1 or 2 Pilot Medical
  • 500 Hours Total Flight Time
  • 200 Hours Multi-Engined Flight Time
  • 50 Hours Turbine Flight Time
  • *If you do not meet these minimum requirements, you need to complete a jet-bridging course before attending the type rating.
