WHO THIS

COURSE IS FOR

This is an Airbus A320 Type Rating Course for candidates that have the necessary experience. This Course develops the required skills and competencies for the issue of an A320 Type Rating. Aircraft Base Training will be required for candidates who do not satisfy regulator Zero Flight Time requirements.

This course is offered by our Training Partner, PTC Aviation in Port Elizabeth.

COURSE

DESCRIPTION

The course is conducted in three phases: Ground Phase, Simulator Phase and Skills test.

The course starts with a self-study course prior to commencement of the training at 43 Air School’s partner school, PTC Aviation. The training centre is located in Port Elizabeth.  This distance-learning is conducted via the PTC Aviation online Learning Management System (LMS) giving you 24/7 access to the courseware – so that you control the pace and path of your studies.  It also creates significant savings in the amount of time you need to spend at our training centre.

Once you arrive at PTC Aviation, instructor-led workshops, Cockpit Procedural Training (CPT) and a computer-based FMS emulator build on and consolidate your understanding of the self-study elements that you have completed through the LMS.

Thereafter, simulator training and a skills test is conducted.
